Siren, an esteemed band from the 1980’s, who originate from South Florida have recently released their latest single “Small Town.”

Known for their distinctive fusion of melodic rock and blues, this new single explores cherished memories from youth. Spearheaded by vocalist and lyricist Rob Phillips, Siren’s evocative musical arrangements transport listeners to a bygone era of innocence and introspection.

“Small Town” draws its inspiration from Phillips’ upbringing in Brandon, Florida. Infused with thought provoking lyrics and soul stirring vocals, the song seamlessly merges elements of melodic rock, progressive rock and blues, all showing the hallmark sound of Siren.

Recorded at Madison Studios, the single received the meticulous attention of drummer and engineer Mike Cupino who played an integral role in refining its structural framework. Furthermore, the collaboration with video director Isaac Dietz resulted in a visually compelling narrative which adeptly captures the essence of small town life through picturesque landscapes in Georgia and Florida.

Phillips shared that the idea of the song stemmed from fond recollections of childhood in Brandon, characterizing it as a period marked by simplicity and carefree joy. The accompanying video chronicles the adventures of a young couple as they traverse the essence of first love and the nostalgia associated with growing up in a close-knit community.

Producer Isaac Dietz, driven by a profound appreciation for capturing these memories, resonated deeply with the project.

Expanding upon the success of their 2021 album “Beyond The Rainbow,” Siren is poised for their forthcoming album in the summer of 2024.
