Los Angeles based singer/songwriter and actress KiKi Holli has just shared her latest single and it is a memorable one. Entitled “Sun Playing Tricks”, the track is the third single this year off of the artist’s upcoming Fall EP.

“Sun Playing Tricks” is about lost love and all the coping that ensues when we realize the relationship is long gone. KiKi’s graceful and soul-drenched vocals glide effortlessly over a groove-infused decadent soundtrack full of vibey keys and penetrating guitar riffs. The unique sonic pallet of “Sun Playing Tricks” is seductive just like that feeling of chasing after a former lover. KiKi Holli collaborated with an all-star team for the single including Grammy nominated producer and mixer Ethan Allen (Sheryl Crow, Patty Griffin) and Grammy winner David Collins (Madonna, The Police) who mastered the record. The result is Holli’s strongest track to date and a self described “sultry fever dream of the mirage of lost love”.

KiKi Holli’s first ever single was the cover of Roxy Music’s “More Than This” shared in 2021. This year she has further shared original songs “NEW HIGH”, a song celebrating the simple pleasures in life as well as the recently released “Play To Lose’, an empowering track about knowing your own worth. With more music on the horizon, we can’t wait to hear what is next from this rising indie pop artist.
